Brokerage and Consultants Since 1973
stuosder-realestate.com is designed to provide clients with all necessary access to data required to make intelligent decisions regarding the sale or lease of real property.
In 1973 the "tools of the trade" for Real Estate professionals consisted of 100' tape measures, calculators, IBM typewriters, yellow legal pads, and, of course, a lot of hard, conscientous work. Today's tools include paperless transactions on the internet, scanners, cell phones, computers, digital cameras, but providing truly personal, professional service still requires a lot of hard, conscientous work. Because our focus is on providing personal service, we meet the trades people, inspectors, and appraisers for you, if doing so conflicts with your schedule. We guide you through every aspect of the purchase, sale, leasing and management of residential real estate
and give you the benefit of over 36 years' experience in previously owned homes and new construction, with a few Business Opportunities and commercial properties thrown in! We keep you informed every step of the way, and pride ourselves on returning calls promptly!
Some biographical information -

Stu Osder
License: Calif. Real Estate Broker (#00411705) since 1973.
Education: B.A. (C.S.L.A.), J.D. (U.C.L.A.)
Bio: As you can see from the date of my license, I've been an active Real Estate Broker in California (mostly Southern California, from Ventura to Rancho Cucamonga, from Pacoima to Woodland Hills, including Beverly Hills, the South Bay, and L.A. itself) for about 36 years. During that time I've sold or exchanged new home tracts (usually as the Community Sales Director or Manager), previously owned homes ( both as a Listing and Selling Broker), apartment buildings (including leasing them out), bars and even restaurants. I've owned or managed offices and divisions in Tarzana, Beverly Hills, Westwood, Torrance, and Carson, to name a few. I'm proud to say that I've never been sued by an unhappy client or another broker - probably because I strongly feel that people can deal with whatever negative news comes their way, but cannot tolerate lies in any form. So, I'm usually blunt, and always honest. The older I get, the more I appreciate the fact that what has kept me in the business for so long is not only the money (let's face it, I didn't go into the business so that I could work very hard for nothing) but because there is simply nothing quite as satisfying as helping a young couple start their lives on a the right foot, or helping seniors with solutions to issues presented by retirement.
I'm a native Angeleno, by the way. Raised in what is now West Hollywood, and I've lived in the South Bay, Beverly Hills, and the San Fernando Valley, where my wife and I (and a little guy named Cooper we rescued from the pound) now reside. We have three adult kids and two grandchildren. I'm a Dodger fan, a Lakers fan, a U.C.L.A. and a U.S.C. fan (depending on the sport) and I continue to be upset by the fact that L.A. still doesn't have a pro football team.
